Frequently Asked Questions - Responding to User Reviews
All JantaReview review response must meet standards in these categories:
- Family-friendly Content
- No profanity, threats, prejudiced comments, hate speech, sexually explicit language or other non-family-friendly content.
- We will remove posts that promote or seek advice on engaging in illegal activities. This includes the purchase or sale of
illegal substances (as per the laws of the destination); contributing to the delinquency of a minor; procuring fake IDs; purchase or
sale of designer knock-offs, bootleg CDs, DVDs or video games and other black-market items; smuggling items through customs;
and bribery of officials.
- No graphic reports of violent criminal activity or participation in drug-related activity.
- Do I have to respond to a user review?
- No you are not required to respond to a user review.
- What options do I have, if I want to respond to a user review?
- You can respond publically.
- You can respond privately. An email will be sent to the user
if the user chose to receive email from business owners
- Responding to Positive Reviews?
- Please do not bribe users or promise cash or free gifts for writing reviews.
A simple "Thank you" or other similar message will suffice.
- Responding to Negative Reviews?
- Please be polite in responding to your users. Please treat reviews as opportunities
to improve your product or services.
- Please do not threaten our users with legal actions. Users do have the right to
share their experiences. In addition, threatening users will reflect negatively on
your businesses.
- You can also send a private message to further discuss the issue with the user.
- You can also respond publically. For example - you can explain what went wrong and
what you plan to do in future to improve your product or service.
- Can you delete a negative review?
- We do not delete reviews written by users except if the review is determined to be fradulent and does
not meet our Terms of service. The user however has the ability to edit a review.
- A users have written a negative review about my business. Can you delete my business listing?
We cannot remove business listings based on business owner request. Users do have a right to
comment on a business. Please note that we do not allow users to mention business owners, management
or employee names in our reviews.
- Can you provide us information about the user?
- We cannot disclose user information as per our privacy policy.
- And finally...
- Jantareview reserves the right to remove a review or business owner comment at any time for any reason.
- The reviews posted on Jantareview are individual and highly subjective opinions. The opinions
expressed in reviews are those of JantaReview members and not of JantaReview Inc. We do
not endorse any of the opinions expressed by reviewers or in management responses. We are not
affiliated with any establishment listed or reviewed on this web site.
